Down on the Farm!

We had a WONDERFUL morning at the Klussendorf Dairy Farm.
The weather was perfect ... great for an outdoor field trip.
I wanted to share a slideshow with you of all of the fun photos ... BUT
can't get it to work. So here are just a few to show you for now.
- Ms. Ashlee -
Monday-Wednesday Friends ready to go!
Tuesday-Thursday Friends ready to go!
Heading to see the cows.
All the dairy cows along the feed strip.
These four cows are almost ready to have their calves!
We got to pet some calves. A few even sucked on our fingers!
In the parlor where the cows get milked.
Here is the milk house where the milk is stored
until the milk truck comes to pick it up.
Best of friends.
Free play in their GIANT sandbox.
Pretending to be farmers.

Ms. Brittany comes to visit!

Brittany Hartwig helped out in our classroom about a month ago.
She is going to school to become a teacher!
Brittany came back to visit our classroom last Thursday.
She brought with her mom, her dog, her chicken and her bunny.
We loved learning all about the different animals.

Easter Egg Fun!

We had a blast dying EASTER EGGS!
We used crayons to draw on the eggs before we dipped them into the dye.
The 'magic' white crayon was really cool to use.
With the fun of dying Easter Eggs ... all the kids could talk about was the smell.
Expect the unexpected I guess.
