Filling you in.

I just wanted to share with those that have been checking up on this blog. I started my new teaching job in Boyceville this past fall and have found that my blog is blocked through the school internet. Although it sounded good in theory I just haven't had the time to update both my school website (mandated by school) and my blog I created through my masters. I am trying my best to get my blog available on the school computers. Hopefully ... it wont take very long. :-)

Our Many Colorful Days

We explored the world of COLORS the last few weeks.
Each day we had a new dress up color day.
Thank you to all families for making our color days a success!

Spot the Caterpillar/ Butterfly!

We were able to experience the life cycle of a butterfly in our classroom. A Monarch caterpillar was brought in by one of my students and we named him Spot. (The whole class voted.) The process was really fun to watch. We got Spot as a small caterpillar and watched him eat ... and eat ... and eat! Soon he attached to the under side of a leaf and turned into a chrysalis. About two weeks later we watched as he emerged as a BEAUTIFUL Monarch butterfly! Here a some pictures!

I got married!

This summer was filled with changes for me.
I ended my teaching career at Medford Area Elementary School
to start my new teaching career at Tiffany Creek Elementary in Boyceville.

Two weeks after school was out ... I got married!
It was an amazing day. The rain held off until the reception started.
Now I am Mrs. Ashlee Wisemiller.

Close to my heart.

I wanted to thank all of my families for being flexible with me last week. I received a phone call early Wednesday morning that my grandma had passed away. We were very close and talked at least once a day. I needed to take time to grieve and be with my family. She will be loved and missed dearly. One of my favorite memories is her love of Smarties candy. She would have a bunch in her purse for all of us grand-kids at church.
