Close to my heart.

  I wanted to thank all of my families for being flexible with me last week. I received a phone call early Wednesday morning that my grandma had passed away. We were very close and talked at least once a day. I needed to take time to grieve and be with my family. She will be loved and missed dearly. One of my favorite memories is her love of Smarties candy. She would have a bunch in her purse for all of us grand-kids at church.

Kraft's Kuddly Kritters Traveling Petting Zoo!

For our last Families Being Involved Workshop, 

we decided to host the Kraft's Kuddly Kritters Traveling Petting Zoo!

On of our friends brought in her NEW baby ducks since it was Farm Week!

They were extremely cute and cuddly.We loved the chance to get to hold them.

We had a WONDERFUL morning at the Klussendorf Dairy Farm.

The weather was perfect ... great for an outdoor field trip.

Check out how our sunflowers are growing! Click on the tab at the top of this page entitled "Sunflowers!". I will update the pictures as soon as possible. The students absolutely love seeing how much they have grown since they were in school last. :-)

Taylor County Highway Department

We have been busy learning about the various ways and uses of transportation last week. On Tuesday and Wednesday we took a SCHOOL BUS to the Taylor County Highway Department. 

We got the chance to see SNOW PLOWS, LAWN MOWERS, DUMP TRUCKS, and more!
